Blanca Adriana Vázquez Montiel, 37, went to an evaluation appointment at the Detox clinic located at 2511 Calzada Zavaleta, in the Santa Cruz Buenavista neighborhood of Puebla, on May 18, 2026. She has been missing ever since.
Surveillance cameras captured the moment when three people, apparently clinic employees, put her, while she was allegedly unconscious, into a red Mini Cooper with license plate XVD-894-B.
A formal complaint was filed with the Puebla State Attorney General’s Office, which opened investigation file FGEP/CDI/FEIDDFPDCP/DESAPARECIDOS-I/000670/2026 and activated the Alba Protocol, the immediate search mechanism for missing women and girls. As of May 20, her whereabouts are unknown.
Blanca Adriana arrived at the establishment accompanied by her husband. According to her brother Michelle’s testimony to El Sol de Puebla, she entered the supposed operating room to undergo liposuction. A woman who introduced herself as a surgeon and two other people who identified themselves as assistants greeted the husband and gave him the patient’s belongings.
During the procedure, the clinic staff asked the husband to go out and buy a compression garment, bandages, and medication, and gave him a phone number to call upon his return. When he came back approximately an hour later, he found the building completely closed and no one answering.
The man called the Municipal Police. Officers arrived at the scene and spoke with the building owners, who allowed them access for an inspection. No one was inside.
Blanca’s family then went to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), where ministerial agents requested search warrants to formally enter the building and conduct a more thorough search. They did not find the woman there either.
What they found in the videos
Upon reviewing security camera footage from the area, family members and investigators obtained two videos from different angles. The images show a woman wearing a cap and medical uniform accompanied by a man unofficially identified as her son and another woman who was allegedly the business’s receptionist.
In the video, the man carries a bundle that appears to be a human body before placing it in the vehicle.
The owner of the property, which was only rented, also cooperated with the prosecutor’s office, according to e-consulta.
