A site used as a clandestine training center and crematorium was discovered in the municipality of Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco. According to information shared by Ceci Flores, a mother searching for her missing loved ones, there were 16 graves at the site.
On May 17, Flores shared a video on social media in which she stated that there were signs that bodies had been burned at the site.
“They burned them in this place, because here is the evidence, here are the tires of what we found inside. They burned them in this place, and everything you see beforehand, all this surrounding area where we have found things,” Flores stated.
According to the mother searching for her missing loved ones, the smell of burnt flesh still lingered at the site, as the crematorium was still operational.
“We don’t know how many days ago this person was burned, or how many of the other people inside were burned. We don’t know the number,” Ceci Flores added.
Meanwhile, news reports indicate that there were approximately 60 bags containing human remains at the site in the town of El Salto.
