Professional wrestler Cuatrero—whose real name is Rogelio Reyes—has been found guilty by a Mexico City court of the crimes of domestic violence and attempted femicide against his ex-partner, fellow wrestler Stephanie Vaquer.
The court ruling stems from proceedings initiated in 2023, when Vaquer filed a complaint regarding a physical assault that resulted in visible injuries and an attempted strangulation.
The verdict was reported on May 5 by Antonio Nieto, a journalist specializing in security issues and a wrestling enthusiast.
According to Nieto’s reports, the hearing to determine the specific sentence has been scheduled for next Tuesday, May 12. Furthermore, the journalist stated that Cuatrero must return to prison while his sentence is being finalized, having spent part of the legal proceedings on conditional release.
