A new audio leak from the Hondurasgate case exposes a plan by the United States to destabilize the governments of Mexico and Colombia.
In a communication between former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández and the country’s current president, Nasry Asfura—obtained by *Canal Red América Latina*—it is detailed that this constitutes a media disinformation strategy coordinated from the U.S. Presidency.
“We are going to set up an information cell right here in the United States, Mr. President, so that we can’t be traced back there in Honduras; and I believe that, at this point, we can achieve great things for all of Latin America. A dossier against Mexico is coming; a dossier against Colombia is coming.”
The audio reveals a request for the transfer of $150,000 to rent an apartment and establish an office for a digital journalism unit—the base from which this media disinformation strategy operates.
“I need you—please—to send me about $150,000. Please. Because today we are going to rent an apartment; today we are going to set up an office to house a digital journalism unit.”
A series of audio recordings of private conversations—obtained by the media outlet *Canal RED* and the *Hondurasgate* project—have revealed an alleged operation involving international political interference and corruption, implicating the government of Israel, former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, and U.S. President Donald Trump.
The objective of this corrupt scheme is to facilitate the return to the presidency of Hernández, who was sentenced to 45 years in prison for drug trafficking by a U.S. court and subsequently pardoned by Trump shortly before the elections in Honduras.
According to the leaked audio recordings—which were recorded between January and April of 2026 using applications such as WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram—Hernández allegedly claimed that his release and pardon… After being convicted in the United States in 2024 for drug trafficking and conspiracy with the Sinaloa Cartel, he was not paid directly by Washington, but rather by “a council of rabbis” and individuals close to Israel.
“Well, I like hearing Unigrant’s message. Or rather, reading Unigrant’s message. I am happy with the simple fact that they replied to me. Now, my formal response is this: I am not going to support—not even in the slightest—what they have said about me or what they have offered me. I am going to strike back hard; I am going to publicly name and accuse those who are completely stalling my entire process of returning to Honduras. I even secured the contact for the oil company for them; I got the contact for the firm; I got them everything—yet they aren’t resolving anything for me, even though they have gone ahead with—and pursued—the entire situation I requested. The money for the pardon—it didn’t come from you, not a single cent came from you. It came from a council of rabbis and from people who support Israel. I am going to win the elections. I am going to be the first candidate to be officially registered.”
