During his performance at the Super Bowl LX halftime show, Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny mentioned a drug known as “Tussi” while performing his song “NUEVAYol,” from his most recent album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
In that context, the artist said: “Cocaine is white, yeah, yeah. Tussi is pink, eh-eh. Don’t get confused, no, no. Better avoid it, hey”; which could be interpreted as a direct warning about the dangers associated with this substance.
However, despite being a warning, the dissemination of the message during the show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, raised questions about the origin and dangers of the pink drug.
According to the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), “Tussi” or pink cocaine is a pink-tinted powder that stands out for its sweet smell and hallucinogenic effects.
