The arrest of César Alejandro Sepúlveda, alias “El Botox,” identified as the leader of the Blancos de Troya cartel, revealed new information about the murder of lemon grower leader Bernardo Bravo Manríquez, which occurred in October 2025 in Apatzingán, Michoacán.
According to the reconstruction of the case carried out by state authorities, the lemon grower leader allegedly met with “El Botox” on the same day as his murder, through an intermediary identified as Marco Antonio “N,” alias “El Pilones,” who is already in custody.
Carlos Torres Piña, the state prosecutor, reported that traces of blood belonging to the lemon grower leader were found at the ranch—owned by the criminal—as well as a tire track from the vehicle he was traveling in.
After conducting forensic and DNA analyses, it was confirmed that both belonged to Bernardo Bravo, which has allowed them to determine that he was murdered in that place.
