President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that the two agents from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) who were kidnapped in Jalisco have been found in good health.
“The two agents from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection kidnapped by a criminal group in Jalisco have been found in good health,” she reported at the morning press conference at the National Palace.
Later, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection stated that the two officers, who were abducted on November 25 while conducting intelligence and field investigation work in the state of Jalisco, have been located and are safe.
In a press release, the agency noted that both agents are receiving hospital medical attention for various injuries that, according to the preliminary report, are not life-threatening.
“The SSPC maintains constant communication with state and federal authorities and continues its lines of investigation to clarify the facts. The institution also guarantees comprehensive support for the officers and their families, including medical and psychological care, and all necessary assistance,” the statement read.

The head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), Omar García Harfuch, announced that the two officers who were kidnapped in Jalisco have been located and are safe.
Through his account on the social media platform X, he recalled that the SSPC officers disappeared on November 25.
“Our colleagues from @SSPCMexico who were kidnapped in Zapopan, Jalisco on November 25 are safe and will soon be with their families,” he wrote.
