An inter-institutional operation resulted in the arrest of eight members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in the municipality of Malinalco, State of Mexico. Among those arrested are a public servant from the Municipal DIF System and a minor. Crime Movies
The seizures, carried out by members of the State of Mexico Attorney General’s Office (FGJEM), the Sedena (National Guard), the National Guard (GN), and the State Public Security (SSEM), occurred at three separate times and weakened a criminal cell linked to high-impact crimes in the region.
Among those arrested is Nancy, identified as a public servant from the Malinalco DIF System and an aide to Mayor Marlén Nieto.
In an initial operation on Avenida del Panteón, several individuals were arrested, including:
Two long guns, magazines, and cartridges of various calibers:
A ballistic vest with a badge and a flame-retardant
Plastic bags containing dried grass that resembled marijuana
Fake SEDENA identification cards, pixelated military-style uniforms, and a full Federal Police uniform.
The other arrests were made for narcotics possession:
In the Barrio San Guillermo neighborhood, Martín Darío “N” and Misael Saturnino “N” were arrested in possession of packages containing a crystalline substance, presumably crystal meth
In the Jalmoloya neighborhood, Francisco Javier “N” was arrested in flagrante delicto with Ziploc-type bags containing a granulated solid substance with the characteristics of crystal meth
The Prosecutor’s Office warns that the detainees are part of a criminal cell linked to the CJNG (National Criminal Investigation Unit) that could be linked to various high-impact crimes committed in that region of the state.
Those arrested, including Edson Jesús “N,” Gabriel “N,” Jessica “N,” and the minor, were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry, which will determine their legal status in the coming hours.
