Peruvian authorities arrested twenty-year-old Tony Janzen Valverde Victoriano, alias Pequeño J, on Tuesday. Argentine authorities have identified him as the mastermind of the triple femicide committed on Friday, September 19, in Buenos Aires, according to Patricia Bullrich, Minister of National Security of the Argentine government.

“I want to congratulate the Peruvian National Police for their tremendous work and collaboration in capturing the two fugitives in the triple murder,” Bullrich announced in a post on the social media platform X, shortly after announcing the arrest of another alleged member of the group.

“The Anti-Drug Directorate arrested Pequeño J in Pucusana, showing that when you work with determination and coordination, criminals have nowhere to hide,” added the Argentine minister, who closed her message with a frequently repeated phrase: “Whoever does it, pays for it.”

“In a swift and simultaneous operation, agents from the Anti-Drug Directorate, in coordination with Interpol Argentina, arrested Pequeño Jota and Matías Agustín Ozorio in Pucusana. Both fugitives from Argentina and under Interpol red notice, they are implicated in a triple murder in Buenos Aires,” Peruvian police stated.

The arrest of Valverde Victoriano came shortly after the arrest of Matías Agustín Ozorio, identified by Bullrich herself as the second-in-command of the drug organization accused of being behind the murders of Morena Verdi, 20; Brenda del Castillo, 20; and Lara Gutiérrez, 15.
