The discovery of the bodies of Colombian musicians B-King (Bayron Sánchez Salazar) and Regio Clown (Jorge Luis Herrera Lemos) on a highway in the State of Mexico on September 22, 2025, opened an investigation, according to authorities.
While Mexican authorities confirmed the disappearance and subsequent location of the artists, alleged messages attributed to Regio Clown began circulating in parallel. In these messages, she warned her partner that she “didn’t trust anyone” and mentioned an individual identified as “El Comandante.” In these messages, she asks for his location, warns him to avoid private places, and he replies, “I don’t trust anyone,” and mentions “El Comandante.” The veracity of these chats has not been confirmed by authorities, although they are widely circulated on social media.
According to multiple reports, B-King and Regio Clown disappeared on September 16, 2025, in Mexico City after being spotted at a gym in Polanco.
Their relatives reported that they had arrived from Colombia a few days earlier to perform, including one at Insurgentes, as part of the September 14th celebrations.
Mexican authorities, including the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office, issued official wanted reports after losing track of them.
Finally, on September 22, it was confirmed that both musicians were found dead on the Mexico-Cuautla federal highway, in the municipality of Cocotitlán, State of Mexico.
