Daniela Barragán’s family spent hours trying to locate her, as they hadn’t heard anything from her since the LP gas pipeline explosion at the Puente de la Concordia in Iztapalapa. They were able to identify her through a DNA test, however, the news was not favorable, as she died from her injuries.
Her boyfriend, Bryan Ramos, did not stop searching for Dani, and with a broken heart, confirmed that the young woman had died. In a heartbreaking message, he shared that he had lost the woman with whom he was going to share his life, as they had plans to get married and start a family with her.
“Today I not only lost my best friend, I lost my future wife, the future mother of my children, “guaguas” (as she called them). I lost the partner of my life. I never knew what it was like to love with such intensity since I met you.”
In a month we were going to be engaged, and now I’ll live with the pain of knowing I won’t be able to see you dressed in white like we talked about so much. I will always love you, my beautiful little mouse, in this and all the lives I have left.
Rest in peace, my baby.
