U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Mexican boxer Julio César Chávez Jr., who is accused of having alleged ties to the Sinaloa Cartel.
In a statement, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed the arrest and identified Chávez Jr., son of legendary boxer Julio César Chávez, as having ties to the criminal organization.
“His expedited removal from the United States is being processed. This Sinaloa Cartel affiliate has an active arrest warrant in Mexico for his involvement in organized crime and the trafficking of firearms, ammunition, and explosives,” the statement reads.

In her youth, she married Édgar Guzmán López, son of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, with whom she had a daughter, Frida Sofía (born in 2006). After Édgar’s murder in 2008 in Culiacán, she was left a widow and a single mother.
