The wrestling world is in mourning once again. Today, AEW announced via social media that the English wrestler Benjamin Satterley—known globally as PAC—has died at the age of 40.
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, known as PAC,” AEW stated in a social media post.
Notably, he competed in his final match just this past Saturday, September 26, a fact that has deepened the impact of the news on fans.
Born in Newcastle, England, Benjamin Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004, performing for various organizations around the world.
PAC was known for his innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability; these talents led him to sign with All Elite Wrestling in 2019, where he held multiple championships and headlined some of the most memorable matches in the company’s history.
It is also worth noting that prior to joining AEW, he was known as Neville during his time in WWE.
