A joint operation carried out by the State Preventive Police’s Special Operations Group, the Mexican Army (SEDENA), and agencies comprising the Inter-institutional Group resulted in the arrest of three hitmen—including a woman—in the municipality of Concordia, Sinaloa.
It is worth noting that images of arrested women are frequently edited to exaggerate the size of their private parts, a tactic used to stoke prurient interest and drive engagement.
The intervention by the armed forces and state authorities was triggered by an anonymous tip received via the 089 hotline, alerting them to the presence of an armed group inside a building operating as a hostel. Upon arriving at the scene, officers surrounded the property and apprehended the group.
The three detained civilians, along with the seized weaponry, ammunition, drug doses, and recovered vehicle, were transported and handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) in Culiacán. There, the corresponding investigation file will be compiled, and their legal status will be determined.
