A man was arrested for locking a five-year-old boy with autism spectrum condition in a metal dog carrier; In addition, it had a padlock and was held with a rope.
The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) reported that the minor was rescued by his own relatives on July 28 at a home in San Quintín.They found out what happened and went to the property to free the minor.
The investigation indicates that between June and July Henry Román ‘N’ would have insulted and yelled at the child, in addition to limiting activities necessary for his coexistence and development.
On August 25, FGE agents searched the home and found two minors, who were taken into custody by the authorities. At the scene they also secured the cage that would have been used to deprive the child of his freedom.
Two days later, elements of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) of the FGE apprehended Henry Román ‘N’.
A judge linked him to trial on August 29 for the crimes of psychological family violence, discrimination and aggravated deprivation of personal liberty.
As a precautionary measure, he ordered that he remain in preventive detention during the development of the criminal process.
In a statement, the head of the FGE, María Elena Andrade Ramírez, reiterated the commitment to protect children and asked those who are aware of an offense against a minor to report it.
