Francisco Castro was born in El Salvador. He came to the United States at age 15. He attended California State University Northridge where he obtained a B.A. in Print Journalism. He has worked in newspapers, web, magazines and public relations. Previously, he spent four years as the Metro Editor for La Opinion, the largest daily Spanish newspaper in the West Coast.
