Yeison Jiménez’s family remains in mourning, honoring the memory of the popular music singer who passed away six months ago in a light aircraft crash in the Romita area, between Paipa and Duitama (Boyacá).
He was accompanied on the flight by his team: Fernando Torres (pilot), Óscar Marín (assistant), Jefferson Osorio (manager), Weisman Mora (photographer), and Juan Manuel Rodríguez (visual producer). All of them perished.
Since his death, various tributes have been paid to the singer of “Aventurero,” who—at age 34—had reached the pinnacle of his musical career and transcended borders with his talent, touching the hearts of popular music lovers. In his hometown of Manzanares, Caldas, he was honored for his contributions to the community and for bringing renown to the municipality.
Now, his brother Alejandro Jiménez has shared a post on social media featuring photographs of the memorial for Yeison, who was cremated.
The images show a golden likeness of his face, accompanied by a hat, sunglasses, a chain, and a plaque reading: “Yeison Jiménez —with the heart— July 26, 1991 – January 10, 2026.”
