The leak of images from the funeral of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho,” leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), has brought attention to Laisha Michelle Oseguera González, his youngest daughter.
The young woman was reportedly identified among those attending the wake, and some even claim that she was the one who claimed her father’s remains from the authorities, reigniting interest in her life and the accusations surrounding her.
Laisha Michelle Oseguera González was born on April 4, 2001, and is the youngest daughter of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes and Rosalinda González Valencia, known as “La Jefa.”
Her name remained out of the public eye until 2021, when, along with her mother and a cousin, she sent a letter to a United States court requesting clemency for her sister Jessica Oseguera González, detained for money laundering.
