Authorities in Peru are investigating the murder of Tuki Tuki the Clown, which has caused shock on social media, where the entertainer was well-known. The case has gained particular attention after family members indicated that the young man was lured to a fake party, which led to an armed attack. Attention has also focused on the last post the artist shared before his death, a message related to the holiday season.
Roger Gallegos Rodríguez, the real name of the character’s creator, was murdered on Thursday, December 11, in the Huaycán area of Lima, when he went to what appeared to be a work engagement. According to family members, the event never took place and was used as a lure to ambush him.
Hours before the incident, Tuki Tuki posted a photo on Instagram with the message “Christmas mode activated,” where he often shared videos and photos with his followers. The image showed the clown entertaining at a party, just as he used to do before his murder.
