Jesús “P,” alias “Chucho Robles” and/or “El Peñaloza,” was shot and killed on a highway in the municipality of San Antonio de la Cal, Oaxaca.
The attack occurred on Federal Highway 175, near the Experimental intersection. According to witnesses, the man, originally from the coastal region, was traveling in a maroon Chevy with other people when he was intercepted and shot.
Following the incident, the scene was secured by agents of the State Investigation Agency (AEI), who led the forensic investigation and cordoned off the area.
The Oaxaca State Attorney General’s Office (FGEO) reported that it deployed a multidisciplinary team to further the investigation, using scientific and forensic techniques to identify the perpetrators.
