Three men are the alleged perpetrators of the femicide of 29-year-old Joceline Dianneth, whose body was found on October 4 in the Tulichek canal in Mexicali.
The state’s Attorney General, Ma. Elena Andrade Ramírez, reported that there are currently two active arrest warrants in this case, while the third has already been executed with the arrest and indictment of Enrique Armando “N,” who kidnapped the victim on October 3 when she picked up her son from school. He was later involved in the act of tying her hands and feet, gagging her with tape, and throwing her alive into the canal.
Regarding the other two individuals involved who have not been apprehended, Andrade Ramírez stated that there is a hypothesis that one of them is outside the state of Baja California; however, he did not elaborate on which state he might be in.
“We believe one of them is outside the state. We are in contact with the state where we think he might be fleeing to evade justice, but we have reason to believe that the other two individuals will soon be brought to justice.”
