“We will not leave anyone stranded”: Sheinbaum announces visit to Puebla, Veracruz, and Hidalgo after rain damage

President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced on her official X account that this Sunday she will be in the states affected by the rains.

According to the president’s post, she will visit three of the hardest-hit states: Puebla, Veracruz, and Hidalgo. She explained that the emergency is currently being addressed through the DN-III-E and Marina plans.

She also emphasized that the census will soon begin to distribute aid and emphasized that no one will be left stranded.

In addition to this announcement by Sheinbaum, the Mexican government has opened the 079 telephone number to report missing persons after the rains that affected the states of Puebla, Hidalgo, Veracruz, Querétaro, and San Luis Potosí.
