The discovery of the lifeless bodies of Bayron Sánchez Salazar, known in the art world as B-King, and DJ Regio Clown, identified as Jorge Luis Herrera Lemos, two Colombian urban music artists who disappeared in Mexico City on September 16, was marked by the emergence of a narco-message that guides the main line of investigation.
According to El Gráfico, a sign allegedly signed by La Familia Michoacana was found next to the dismembered bodies, warning: “FM has arrived, this goes out to all the grasshoppers, managers, and vendors, we’re going for everything.”
The message was written on a piece of cardboard, the letters partially erased by moisture, and referred to both musicians as “sellers and grasshoppers.” The presence of this narco-message, signed by the criminal group, reinforces the hypothesis of La Familia Michoacana’s involvement in the crime, according to information confirmed by the State Attorney General’s Office of Mexico.
The final hours of both artists were reconstructed based on testimonies and official records. B-King’s manager, Juan Camilo Gallego, reported that the last time he had contact with them was on the morning of September 16, when they both left for a gym in the Polanco neighborhood, an exclusive area of the Mexican capital. The missing persons reports began days later after all communication was lost following that meeting.
