Ecuadorian Keyla Andreina joked about her death, but was murdered: “in the head so it doesn’t hurt.”

On the afternoon of July 26, a woman was murdered inside her home in Guayaquil, Ecuador, while broadcasting live on social media. The victim was identified as Keyla Andreína González and was fatally shot twice in the head, everything was recorded.

Keyla, a 28-year-old saleswoman, was at her home in Guayaquil, spending time with a friend and her partner. What began as a social gathering, with the consumption of alcoholic beverages, escalated into a chilling sequence of events.
During the live broadcast, Keyla asked the man present to shoot her, even suggesting “two shots in the head so it doesn’t hurt.” Tensions escalated when the man surprisingly pulled out a gun. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, Keyla shouted “no,” but it was too late.

Two shots rang out, silencing the young woman’s life. In the widely circulated video, a man wearing a white T-shirt and cap can be seen, although his face is not discernible, making immediate identification difficult.

Immediately after the crime, the perpetrator and his partner fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of grief and unanswered questions. Authorities have launched an intense investigation, recovering crucial items such as the bullets and the victim’s cell phone, which could hold vital clues to solving the case and determining the whereabouts of those responsible.
