Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis and her partner and friend Lindsay Lohan unleashed a frenzy among hundreds of fans who, although their visit was kept secret, arrived at the premiere of Freaky Friday, a film that will premiere on August 7th, 22 years after the release of Freaky Friday.
It was exactly at 6:23 PM when Jamie Lee Curtis appeared on the stairs wearing an orange outfit, sparking euphoria among the audience. However, the excitement was even greater when Lindsay Lohan appeared, wearing a fuchsia bateau dress, descending the escalator to join Curtis and walk, hand in hand, down the red carpet for her film.
After traveling a relatively short distance, without stopping for anyone and only blowing kisses and greetings from a distance, the actresses took the stage, where a group was located and sang the song “Take Me Away.” After greeting the band and thanking them for the welcome, the acting duo took the floor to share how excited they were to come to Mexico to present their film.
It’s so important for me to be in Mexico City for the first time—yes, for the first time—and with my fans who have been so loyal to me. I’m so grateful to be able to come here first; it really means a lot. I’m so happy to be here with everyone. Thank you! I love you, I love everyone, and I love Mexico. I’ll remember this forever,” Lindsay Lohan said.
