On Friday night, a group of hitmen stormed the Unidad Medica Mi Ciudad private clinic in Culiacán, Sinaloa, and killed 17-year-old Vladimir who was in the operating room.
The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. at a medical center located on Prolongación Álvaro Obregón Avenue, in the Gabriel Leyva neighborhood, north of the city.
According to authorities, Vladimir was being treated in the operating room for gunshot wounds he suffered minutes earlier in an attempted murder.
Preliminary information suggests that the attackers managed to evade clinic security, entered the medical facilities, and went directly to the operating room to finish off their victim.
After carrying out the attack, the armed group fled the scene. Members of various police forces arrived at the scene, deploying to the area to secure the perimeter and begin initial investigations.
