Amid a tense climate for regional Mexican musicians seeking to enter the United States, Espinoza Paz’s name has become embroiled in a wave of speculation about whether or not the singer has joined the list of artists with restrictions on entering the United States.
However, following the speculation, the singer’s own team has come out to deny reports about whether or not Espinoza Paz was denied a visa.
What Did Espinoza Paz Say?
The rumor about Espinoza Paz’s alleged recent visa denial dates back to a post by content creator Chamonic3, who claimed on social media that the singer had been denied a work and tourist visa approximately “two or three months ago.”
In that first message, she also indicated that the artist’s lawyers were already working to recover both documents, without offering further context or confirming the information with official sources.
That post, made in an informative tone but without direct support from the singer’s entourage, was quickly replicated by entertainment websites, celebrity accounts, and social media users, giving the issue widespread visibility and turning the alleged ban into viral news.
Hours later, journalist María Luisa Valdés Doria, head of entertainment news for Televisa Monterrey, reiterated the same version: “It was two or three months ago, and they haven’t given him a work visa or a tourist visa. His lawyers are working on that,” she stated.
In response to the impact of her own initial post, Chamonic3 rectified her position on Tuesday night, May 27, and reported that she had spoken directly with the singer and his team. They clarified that the visa requirement is not a recent incident, but rather a situation that has been ongoing for three years.
