In his return to F1, the Mexican would have as teammates the third drivers of Ferrari and Mercedes, according to Mario Andretti’s bet.
The Cadillac F1 team has narrowed its search for regular drivers to three names for its entry into Formula 1 in 2026.
According to statements by Mario Andretti, although he did not reveal their identities, it is presumed that the selected drivers are Sergio Pérez, Guanyu Zhou, and Valtteri Bottas.
Sergio Pérez, currently on sabbatical, has the backing of businessman Carlos Slim, which could strengthen the team’s presence in the American market.
Furthermore, important announcements about the team are expected to be made at the upcoming Miami Grand Prix, including the unveiling of its official colors.
