The authorities of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Nuevo León (FGJENL) are advancing in the integration of the investigation files to clarify the death of five members of a family, including three minors, which occurred in the municipality of Montemorelos.

The first ministerial hypotheses contemplate the possibility of multiple homicide followed by suicide.

The woman was identified as Cinthya Abigail Tamez R, known as Cindy Tamez, whose body was located on Wednesday morning with bullet holes in the seat of a red Jeep Rubicon truck in the Los Fresnos subdivision, along with the body of one of her three-year-old children, inside the vehicle. Expert specialists seized a short firearm that was next to the woman.

After collecting information from relatives at the first scene, elements of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) and the Institute of Criminalistics and Expert Services went to a home located a few blocks away, on Nogales Street in the Los Nogales neighborhood.

In the property they found the bodies of the woman’s two other minor children and that of her romantic partner, all with gunshot wounds. Neighbors in the area reported hearing loud music during the early morning hours before the discovery.

Within the investigations, the authorities are analyzing publications made hours before on a TikTok account attributed to Cinthya Abigail Tamez R, which contained messages about resentment, goodbyes and warnings of drastic acts.

Likewise, the personal environment of the woman, who was dedicated to informal commerce by organizing batches, raffles for vehicles, chains, watches and cell phones in the area, was integrated into the review.
